More than fifty years ago, the Christian ministry, Forum Wiedenest, founded the German branch of Christian Mission in Many Lands (CMML Tanzania). CMML Tanzania helps to provide essential health and education development in the poorest regions of southern Tanzania.
In cooperation with our partner church, Kanisa la Biblia, and numerous Tanzanian staff workers, CMML operates primary and secondary schools and vocational training facilities, translates Christian literature into Swahili, empowers girls through specific training, and supports community-based health initiatives. In the village of Mbesa, Tunduru District, CMML runs a hospital and vocational training center.
Our staff supports local church ministries and works to improve living conditions for people in southern Tanzania.
